Lab 50 will automatically create logs of errors as they appear in the software. You can access these through Lab 50 by clicking on **Settings > Diagnostics > General**, and then clicking on the button labeled *Open the trace folder*. Alternatively, you can access the log files directly on the machine by accessing **C:\Program Files\Lucidiom Lab 50 7.0\Log** if you have used the default installation path for Lab 50.

Additionally, you can change the amount of information saved while recording logs from within the same window. You can select from *Error, Information, or Verbose*. The default installation sets this option to *Error*, and you should not change this setting unless otherwise instructed by support.

##### Order Event Log

The Order Event Log controls which error messages are visible to the lab operator while using Lab 50. The default settings include showing any warning messages or errors that occur in the software. If you'd prefer to not have error messages display at all, you can deselect the option boxes.
